Developed by Gary Bowen, this new Standoff Hanger is easy to install and is self-leveling. It lets heads stand off from the wall and allows the fur to flow around and behind the mount, creating a professionally finished edge. The hide is not pressed against the wall, allowing air to circulate behind the mount and eliminating tanning oil stains on wall. The design allows viewing from the side when hanging the head on the wall. Manufactured from high strength stainless steel, these hangers will not rust. The tapered safety slot design locks the hanger behind the screw head. One size fits all heads Ñ even elk and African game. The stand off pods are made with a special non-marking rubber compound. Only the pod surface touches the wall. The pods serve as grabbing feet and will help stop off-balanced heads from rotating to one side.
