Polytranspar Fiberglass Lay-Up Resin
This iophthalic (slightly flexible) polyester laminating resin withstands temperature variations better than other polyester resins on the market. It may be used in all seasons for a variety of projects around the wildlife art studio. It is ideal for casting reproduction fish and fish heads, death masks, mold making, standard fiberglass lay-up operations, habitat and exhibit construction, structural reinforcement, waterproofing, or anywhere a good polyester resin is needed. Note: Although the normal shelf life for lay-up resin averages six months, the shelf life will be reduced if stored near a heat source. Includes MEKP catalyst, dyed red for greater visibility during mixing. To use, mix 1%-2% catalyst with the resin and stir thoroughly. The resin will begin to gel in 8 to 30 minutes depending upon the amount of catalyst and the ambient temperature. (UPS hazardous materials surcharge when shipping over one gallon.)

White Gelcoat
Perfect for making fiberglass molds, death masks, study casts, reproduction fish, etc. This is the first coat on a fiberglass casting -- the one which captures all the detail. Shaded to a clean, white color for easy visibility to ensure complete coverage.
