Pathway Polymers Por-A-Kast Rigid Urethane Casting Resin
For super detail and durability, look to the Por-A-Kast family of versatile casting resins from Pathway Polymers (formerly Hyperlast and Synair). Por-A-Kast is easy to use; can be drilled, sanded and carved; can be colored, stained or painted; and it can even be made lighter with Micro Bulb filler or heavier with bronze powder. The 1 1/2 minute gel time allows for rapid production turnover. Por-A-Kast is easily mixed at a 1 to 1 ratio by volume. It's great for reproducing duck heads and feet, mammal jaw sets and noses, fish heads, snakes, frogs, salamanders, rocks, mushrooms, wood carvings, museum exhibits, or just about anything you can imagine.

Pathway Polymers Por-a-Kast TA
Developed to replace plaster, foam and polyester resin support materials for flexible molds, Pathway Polymers Por-A-Kast TA is an easy-to-mix (1 to 1 by volume) thixotrope with high strength and hardness properties. It provides support for flexible molds without the hassle and odors of polyester resin, and without the weight and brittleness of plaster. Por-A-Kast TA is easy to apply to vertical surfaces with a working life of at least 15 minutes. Optimum strength can be gained with applications as thin as 1/4".

Micro Bulb Filler
For use with Por-A-Kast to alter the density of the finished piece. The more you add, the lighter the finished part will be. Micro Bulb Filler is made of microscopic glass spheres which are incredibly lightweight for their size and strength. Mix the filler into both of the liquid components of the Por-A-Kast before combining. Micro Bulb Filler will not affect the detail retention, and it will allow your casting products to go further, which will save money on materials.

Bronze Powders
These powders, when mixed into Por-A-Kast, provide an alternative to expensive metal casting. Known as cold-casting, the resulting part has the look, feel, and weight of bronze or brass, and can be polished with steel wool to a beautiful metallic luster. Add the bronze powder at a ratio of 2 to 1 by weight to the liquid components of Por-A-Kast. Available in two colors.

Clear Casting Resin
This optically clear, non-yellowing, UV stable urethane is mixed at a ratio of 1 to 1 by volume. It has a 16 minute pot life and requires a post cure at 160 degrees Farenheit for 8 hours to achieve its full hardness.
