Polytranspar Artificial Water is the most trusted (and best selling) clear casting resin on the market. Tens of thousands of taxidermy habitat scenes have been created with this versatile product. And now, an improved formulation allows even greater clarity on deep pours. You can create beautiful water surfaces, splash scenes, and ice effects with this crystal clear product. Simply add catalyst, stir and pour. Dries to a smooth, non-tacky finish. Can be poured over plexiglass, cast in molds, manipulated during the gelling stage to create ripples, assembled into intricate splashes, painted over assembled pieces, and more. Each kit includes resin and clear MEK catalyst. Although the shelf life for this product should be at least six months, the shelf life will be greatly reduced if it is stored near a heat source, or if the container is left open and/or exposed to high humidity. Resin Craft Surface Curing Agent
Add this chemical to any polyester resin (in addition to catalyst) when pouring the final layer of a casting to provide a hard, tack-free surface. Use approximately 1/2 oz. of Surface Curing Agent per quart of resin (or about 15 drops of Surface Curing Agent per ounce of resin). Creates a waxy film which eliminates tackiness, but can cloud the surface so use it sparingly on water scenes.Flammable liquid. Cannot be shipped by air.

Clear Acrylic Support Rods
Use these clear acrylic rods to invisibly support fish and bird mounts in artificial water splash scenes. The clear acrylic rods may be heated for bending and distortion and will become rigid once again when cool. The supporting rod may then be covered with clear resin splash components for sturdy yet invisible support. Sold in 18" lengths only. Available in three diameter sizes.

Envirotex Polymer Coating
This is the original high gloss polymer coating which produces a glass-like premium high gloss plastic finish. Designed for interior use. EnviroTex is an epoxy-based polymer compound that will only cure after its two components have been thoroughly mixed together. it may be poured or brushed, with one coat equal to 50 coats of ordinary varnish or lacquers. The finish will self-level. EnviroTex is ideal for creating smooth-surfaced shallow pools. It is also great for making cypress clocks, cypresstable tops, or as a glossy protective coating for skulls.
