George Roof TaxiTuk Tool
About 25 years ago, George Roof of Delaware designed a personal taxidermy tool for tucking hides into lifesized mannikin relief cuts. He never marketed it or even considered doing so until World Champion taxidermist Ken Walker found out about it. Ken had a fit over it and the tool is now endorsed by him, Frankie Thompson, Richard Christoforo and Rick Carter. The tool is called the TaxiTuk tool and no taxidermy shop mounting lifesize animals should be without this little gizmo. It costs less than $10, but it will never puncture or cut your hide, and when you tuck the skin in a slot, it will stay in place when the tool is removed.
