Here's a handy little item from Mike Sestak of Pennsylvania. It's a reusable plastic template for tracing the interior shape of a deer's nasal cavity. Just cut the nose off the mannikin about two inches back, align the template with the cut portion of the mannikin, and trace the nasal passages onto the mannikin. Then use a Dremel or Foredom tool to round out the opening, following the line traced by the guide. Finish the nostril interior with a layer of Magic-Smooth and paint a flesh color before reattaching the nose. You now have a competition quality nose on a commercial mount.
