This amazing little sharpener is deceiving because it works extremely well for such a low price. The "pre-set" carborundum sharpening stones resharpen knives quickly. Simply place a knife on the table with the cutting edge up and lightly (too heavy a stroke won't work), draw the sharpener over the blade. Just a few strokes is all that is needed. The first time I tried it on my dull old pocketknife, it was sharp after just five or six strokes. It has a metal blade protector to protect your fingers while you sharpen.

Paper Wheel Sharpening System
As all wildlife artists know, quality cutting instruments are important to producing quality work. A sharp blade is much safer to use than a dull blade, but sharpening a blade to a razor edge has always been an extremely time consuming job. Not anymore! The Paper Wheel Sharpening System can restore a razor edge to scalpels, X-acto knives, knives, scissors, even razor blades in a matter of minutes. The system consists of two 8-inch sharpening wheels with a 1/2 inch arbor hole for attachment to a double shafted electric motor (not included). One wheel has a very light cutting action produced by silicone carbide dust glued to the edge of the wheel, covered by a lubricant to provide a fine honing action. The other wheel has a polishing action, using a fine grade of jeweler's rouge to highly polish the edge to a razor sharpness. The kit also includes instructions and enough material to recondition the sharpening wheels several times.
