Gary Bowen Protective Kevlar Fleshing Gloves

Prevent accidental cuts to your fingers, hands and lower forearms when operating rotary fleshing machines. Taxidermist Gary Bowen of Iowa has developed these comfortable protective gloves for taxidermists and tanners. Made from DuPont Kevlar, the space-age aramid fiber used in bullet-resistant vests for policemen, these gloves can prevent many accidental minor wounds during skinning and fleshing operations. The extra-long five inch cuffs protect your wrists and forearms while the flat grip dots provide a more sensitive feel to help hold on to wet, slippery hides. Because the grip dots come on both sides (not only the palms), the gloves are ambidextrous. Fleshing Gloves are cut-resistant, yet they are not puncture or cut-proof. Care must still be taken when using machinery or handling sharp items.
