Tecnaglu Superior Hide Paste for Tanned Mammal Skins
Tecnaglu offers superior adhesion for gameheads and mammals, surpassing the ultimate requirements of any hide paste. You can virtually eliminate drumming without the use of brads and pins. This one part glue requires no mixing, and therefore no waste. It has a smooth, creamy consistency that is easy to work with and cleans easily from the hair with water. White in color. Works well with any Liqua-Tanned or commercially tanned skin. (Tecnaglue is not recommended for use with dry preserved skins.) Tecnaglue actually dries with the skin, drawing the skin down to the surface of the mannikin. To use, lightly sand or scratch the mannikin surface. Apply Tecnaglu with a brush and mount the skin as usual. On the second day, go over the hide, squeezing out any air pockets. Tecnaglu contains formaldehyde as one of its ingredients, so care should be taken to prevent excessive contact. Freeze warning: Tecnaglu may become damaged if frozen during shipping.
