Step 1 Put a small amount of clay on the back of the glass eye and smooth it out flat. Insert the eyes into the orbits on the mannikin and level the pupil horizontally.

Step 2 Model in the bottom eyelid with a small portion of clay. Use reference to achieve the proper contour.

Step 3 Place a piece of clay along the upper front quadrant of the eye to create the fullness of the lid. Use refernece for angle and shape.

Step 4 Use another piece of clay to model the upper rear lid of the eye. This clay should cover half the distance between the top of the eye and the pupil.

Step 5 Use a modeling tool to form the crease along the upper lid. Hold the modeling tool at a 45 degreee angle to slant it in the right direction.

Step 6 Once both eyes have been properly modeled, check to make sure both eyes are open the same amount by using a Measurite.
