Hair-Off System
This two-part system is ideal for people who wish to make their own buckskin leather items. It consists of both the Hair-Off powdered chemical and Delimer. This easy-to-use system removes hair more evenly, is less damaging to the skin structure, and has less odor than other methods. Before de-hairing, the raw skin should be dry salted a minimum of 12 hours. After the de-hairing process, the skin should be tanned with either the Liqua-Tan, Lutan F, or Bollmann's Tanning Cream systems. The two pound kit will de-hair approximately two deer-sized buck skins. Complete instructions included.

Rittel's EZ600 Leather-Making Kit
Rittel's Dehairing & Leather Making Kit contains everything you need to dehair and tan your skins into soft, durable leather. An excellent kit for the beginner, allowing you to make real leather for crafts or utility use. Each kit will tan an average sized deer buck skin (6 lb. of wet skin weight). Good for woodchuck, goat, calf or cowhide. You will also need to purchase non-iodized salt.
