WASCO True-Tan Bird Tan
An easy-to-use system that ensures that the skin is permanently stabilized, which reduces the possibility of shifting feathers. Also use Polytranspar Degreaser to enhance the longevity of the mount. One gallon of mixed solution may be used for 10 to 12 very clean bird skins. It also increases the durability of the skin, thus controlling the amount of shrinkage. Flammable liquid. Knobloch's Liqua-Cure
Developed especially for fish and bird skins. Mix one part concentrated Liqua-Cure with ten parts water. For ducks and geese, add an ounce of Kemal-4 per gallon of solution. This product preserves, tans, degreases, cleans and removes odors. For birds first wash the skin in mild soap and water, and then place the skin in the solution for about two hours, stirring every now and then. Remove the skin, rinse completely in cold water and drain. Fluff the feathers with puffed borax and proceed with mounting.

Epo-Grip Thin Set Injectable
This new two-part epoxy adhesive from Newton Supply can be used to inject bird feet, wins, and other small mammal toes. It has a working time of about 15 minutes, so some positioning is possible after injecting. A toothpick inserted into the injection site will prevent the epoxy from leaking out during the set-up time.
