Sitting, Grooming
Taxidermist and sculptor Bob Gatto of New York took Best of Category Small Mammal at the 1989 National Taxidermists Association convention in Pittsburgh with this original red fox grooming pose. Now, this unique mannikin is available from WASCO manufactured in rigid urethane foam.

This grooming red fox is sitting on its rump, licking its left foreleg. The rear legs are straight. Bob's first-hand knowledge of fox behavior and anatomy gained from his own live red fox enabled him to create this uniquely posed mannikin. Some assembly is required.
