Shimmer colors generally can be seen from only one angle and are nearly invisible when looking at them head-on. As the viewer or light source moves, these iridescent pigments reflect different colors, producing a nice shimmering effect. Only a very small amount of paint is needed for the effect. Almost all fish exhibit some combination of iridescent colors.

Shimmering Blue Iridescent
