Opaque & Semi-Transparent Series
Polytranspar Opaque Series colors are totally non-bleeding and may be sprayed lightly or thinned to produce semi-transparent effects. Good hiding ability with a moderate spray. May be freely intermixed with any other Polytranspar colors for special blends. The color pigments in Polytranspar airbrush paints are ground and polished up to five times longer than other pigments, assuring you of higher gloss, cleaner colors, and a smooth-flowing airbrush with fewer clogs. Elastimers give flexibility to the dried paint, allowing for thick, glossy layers without cracking.

Chocolate Brown
A good general-purpose medium brown. It's great for deer head finishing, habitat work, mammal finishing, walleye, perch, and many other uses.

Blending Brown
This color, when sprayed lightly, helps blend epoxy-repaired areas of a fish with the natural dried skin color. Applying this as the first color helps to even out the base color of your fish, allowing you to use less paint on subsequent coats for a more natural-appearing paint job.

Burnt Umber
Darker, and cooler than chocolate brown. Use to tone down bright colors. Good for game head work.

Black Umber
Brownish-black. Developed by Harvey Mohr, this is the perfect color for detailing the jaw sets of open-mouth coyote mounts, plus many other applications.

Sienna
A rich reddish-brown color. Good for shading. Useful on northern pike and smallmouth bass.

Sahara Tan
A general-purpose tan color, similar to buckskin. Can be used on snakes, habitats, mammals and some fish.

Transparent Series
All paints in this section are designed to blend with other colors, and will bleed with subsequent coatings, especially white. Use them only where overspray can be controlled or the blending of colors is desired. Transparent paints are very intense, powerful colors, and very little is needed. For "maximum detail" and transparency, these paints are the best. Advanced artists use transparent paints to create beautiful lifelike effects, but beginners should be aware that these colors cannot be covered with white in order to hide them. They will blend with and alter all other colors (even opaque series colors) when subsequent coats are applied over them at a later time.

Transpar Brown
Multiple uses on many species. Some epoxy compounds may show through this color -- test it first.
