Ashley Barrett, from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, has been practicing the art of taxidermy since 1998. He won the 2009 Best in World Large Mammal with a lifesize mountain lion at the World Taxidermy Championships. Ray starts with the initial belly incision, which is typically required for rug mounts. However, the rest of the procedure can then be applied to ANY bear mount, which is, how to split the lips, flesh the eyes and nostrils, and turn the ears. Form Alteration with Ray Hatfield
