Large Mammal Tanning Kit
This kit allows you to professionally tan any larger mammal skin (deer size) using the Lutan F tanning system. The steps involve skinning, rough fleshing, washing, rinsing, dry salting, brine/pickle solution, re-fleshing, neutralization, tanning solution, rinsing, oiling and breaking the hide. This is a real tanning system which takes several days to accomplish, but when your're through, the skin will have been chemically transformed into genuine leather. You will also need to purchase Lysol disinfectant, baking soda, and at least 10 lbs. of non-iodized salt.

Small Mammal Tanning Kit
This kit allows you to skin and tan most any small mammal for a rug or wall hanging. It utilizes the Lutan F tanning chemistry which is recognized worldwide as one of the very best leatherizing systems. Will work for any raccoon, squirrel, fox, etc. Tanning involves dry salting, brine, pickle, neutralization, tanning, oiling, and breaking. You will also need to purchase Lysol disinfectant, baking soda, and at least 5 lb. of non-iodized salt.

Rittel's EZ100 Tanning Kit
An environmentally safe and easy-to-handle kit for synthetically tanning all furs, hair-on and wool-on skins, including muskrat, fox, calf, sheep and deer. Easy to use, won't discolor furs. EZ100 produces a soft, stretchy, washable white leather with an indefinite shelf life. Each kit will fully tan two average sized deer skins or two full shoulder deer capes or a dozen full fox skins (20 lb. of wet skin weight).
