These kits were developed by Sallie Dahmes, author of "The Breakthrough Bird Taxidermy Manual," and contain practically everything you need to get started, mounting with the natural skull and dry preservative. You can mount birds in a standing position, or flying with their wings extended. The instruction booklet explains how to skin the bird, defat and clean the bird skin, wire the wings and legs, set the eyes, install the mannikin, close the incision, and groom the feathers. The kits do not include the mannikin or glass eyes. These must be ordered separately.
