To regain financial stability, the company management sold the Breakthrough Magazine division of the company to Larry Blomquist of Louisiana, in the hope that this would allow WASCO to focus only on taxidermy supplies. This 72 page catalog was published in the fall of 1989, and was the first to feature the acronym WASCO on a 4-color glossy cover.
